Rift PC Bundle delays?

ECBL

I pre ordered one of the Rift Asus PC bundles through Best Buy, and I'm wondering if these delays on Oculus's end are going to affect estimated shipping windows provided by these big name retailers.
When I ordered, Best Buy quoted arrival by April 25th, but I haven't had any updates and status still says "processing".  Anyone else pre order a bundle with any news?

I'm wanting to order one of these bundles as well. I had the same question, anyone?

I would assume that the computer will ship on the 25th and the oculus will ship following that

I just received an email from BB saying that they are pushed back to May 3 for the release date. If it is only a week and a half, i am OK with that.

I purchased a Dell Alienware Oculus Rift Bundle for $4K roughly. Will
the oculus be delayed for retail units? not seeing any word on this concerns me. May 3rd is fine..but any longer and I'm just gonna cancel the entire bundle. That's ridiculous.

We were just informed that the release date for the item listed below has been updated to Tuesday, May 03, 2016.

You don't need to take any action at this time. We'll
keep you posted if anything else changes, and we'll let you know as
soon as it's ready.

Well...I'm upset. I don't trust Oculus company at all. Honestly the fact that they had a "component shortage" seems ridiculous. Now it seems even us early retail adopters are getting crapped on. I'm paying 4 THOUSAND dollars at retail - I expect the priority and headset by May 3rd @PalmerLuckey @BrendanIrbe. Otherwise I'm seriously never buying an Oculus.

That's no measly $599 amount to be playing around with and constantly pushing the release date. 1 more delay Oculus...please give me a reason to just go HTC Vive.

Patience. I've waited 4 years just for this release, and a couple more days/weeks is nothing compared to the years it's been since I first heard about Oculus. Yes, we aren't happy about Oculus's shortages and lack of communication, but what can you do? If you want to jump ship and got with the Vive, then go ahead.. @Zandil already covered the issues on that. But by canceling your order you're just hurting yourself. Trust me, I ordered within the first 5 minutes of pre-orders and had a March shipping date. If anyone should be mad about not receiving a Rift it would be the people who are in the same boat as I. So chill.

No offense, but no one cares that you overpaid for a Alienware computer on top of your Oculus purchase, hundreds of thousands of people paid (or will pay) $599 for the Rift and everyone of us have all have to wait in line until ours is ready.
