I couldn't agree more. Every time I see a new public beta released I get a chuckle seeing as they keep pushing all these updates when there's not a stable version to begin with
I had far less issues using the classic version before core 2.0 came out. Even when you're using the newer versions and you click on use classic instead it's not the same as it was before, issues all over the place

Instead of trying to add all these enhanced features that have nothing to do with the games maybe they should go back to the basics and get all the games working properly first

I thought you could disable Core 2.0 and revert to the old core? 2.0 is the Beta.

You can disable Core 2.0 and use Classic but it has never been the same as the original as far as performance and issues.

Just to update:

I uninstalled Nvidia drivers (let Windows 10 install whichever ones it installs from Windows Update). I then, after also uninstalling, reinstalled the Oculus software (I removed everything Oculus/Home2/Dash, etc etc). So once I had the normal home installed again (and had to go through ALL the setup procedures again with Cameras and Touch); I installed the recent Nvidia drivers and everything seems stable again.

Most likely it was Core 2.0 that had the sudden issue. And like many have said, it IS a Beta, so I'm not mad about that.
What I did find kind of humorous ('cause at this point all you can do is laugh...); the MS USB drivers for the Inatek card actually reinstalled correctly this time. It ACTUALLY has two entries for "Generic SUPER SPEED USB HUB" under the Fresco Host Controller. It never said that before or it would show the little yellow exclamation mark every so often. So I'm at that paranoid point of, "Do NOT touch anything!". I have a bad habit of constantly "cleaning and refreshing" the registry and such, lol!

My apologies for the TL:DR update.

"Added assorted bug fixes and stability improvements". Does this include a fix for PC2 not launching correctly unless classic Home is used. What`s the big secret by not telling us the actual fixes?

Hi so after the last update my gardian boundaries and walls do not work. I have redone sensors and reset boundaries a few times without success
Also when on home when I look into the distance the buildings are not completely rendered and as I turn my head they will start to render but as soon as I start to look directly at them they will start to disappear.
Amd rx480 on both 17. Drivers and on the latest 18. Driver

Changing back to non dash dropping beta is and everything worked ok however as soon as I enable public test chanel and 1.23 is installed guardian will not work

Well this latest update (And the hotfix soon after) messed up my sensors for a bit. The first update only screwed my 3rd sensor, got the bad performance error message. Then I left my PC alone for a few hours to watch a film or two on my Wii U. I then had a look at my PC and my sensor had sorted itself out.

Great, I thought. Then the hotfix came in and left me with two sensors up the spout lol. And now I've been away from my PC for another hour or two and they've sorted themselves out again. Very odd. 😮 😄

Before the hotfix, there was nothing I was able to do to get things to work properly (although I didn't try repair). With Core 2.0, the screen was just blank, and with Classic, everything would cut out during use.

After the hotfix, on PTC, Core 2.0 is still not working, but Classic works normally.

Unable to launch Star Trek Bridge Crew on Dash.  Look into this pls.

EDIT: Works fine after reverting to Classic Home.
