Whats wrong with just using a desktop music player of your choice and muting the Oculus music or sound effects?

Yup, and you can even pin the spotify/itunes/etc from your desktop if you want to control it. I always pin it behind me so its not in my way, but can look back and change the track.

What's wrong with having our own music played within Home/Dash? What just accept we must use what is on offer at present with Enviromentals or nothing?
Sometimes we need to close Dash due to taking up resources needed. When closing Dash it stops any Media Player on your Desktop. BTW why is Desktop not labelled as DASH? You confuse us.

If you pin your music player, it shouldn't stop when you close Dash.

Also, Cortana voice apps are coming to windows in the next update. Meaning you will be able to control Spotify and more with your voice.

When I was closing Dash it never closed program I'm running on it like video player, browser, etc. and I was able to switch smoothly from Dash to flat monitor to Virtual Desktop, etc. I'm susprised you saw this MAC_MAN86 and BTW I prefer to use solution already available instead of Oculus Devs reinventing the wheel, they have enough to create on Virtual side 😉
