My Rift S, which I've been using for a few years, suddenly stopped connecting. The USB is recognized when I plug in the cable, but the DisplayPort is not detected. It briefly recognizes the DisplayPort upon connection, but an error occurs a few seconds later. It was working fine until yesterday, so I think cable damage is unlikely.
Steps taken:
Reconnected the cable (PC & Rift S)
Changed the cable connection port
Reinstalled the graphics driver
Reinstalled Meta software
Removed from Device Manager
Is there anything else I can try?
Also, if I want to replace the cable, is it possible to buy an official one?
