Like I said, don't hold your breath. Give it 3 more weeks.

I didn't use any exclamation marks so I disavow any responsibility. 😄

I only reported what I saw over on Reddit. But we have had other indications that a new SDK is imminent. Cyber said it here saying it was coming very soon, and a dev on a their forum said their testing looked really good.

It could still happen. Fingers are crossed. The new NVidia driver really smoothed out DCS for me though there is still some. Hopefully the new runtime will clean it up the rest of the way.

He said very soon just this week. I'll see if I can find the quote.

Found it - viewtopic.php?f=26&t=15600&p=209705#p209705

But Cyber also mentioned it in another thread this week but in both cases gave no hard ETA.

But if it doesn't hit this week, it is going to be for the best. Each SDK means devs have to recompile and retest and I'm sure OVR is being mindful of that. If the release early with issues it just makes devs spin their wheels unnecessarily.

I much prefer they issue good software over buggy.

3 more weeks? Ha, I'm expecting it today, or early next week if they are still ironing out issues. From what I read, it's in a QA stage and could drop any time.

At this point, for the linux sdk+runtime support, I prefer anything at all. Buggy or not! Spinning wheels is better than not having any wheels at all!
