Yes you read that right, you can now use SideQuest without a computer!
This is how you set it up:
- Go to the SideQuest app on your computer.
- Connect your computer via USB-C.
- In the Search bar, search for SideQuest Mobile.
- Next to the "Download App-Release" button, click the drop down arrow.
- Then click the "Download Experimental" link from the drop down menu.
- On your Quest 2 headset, go to your "Unknown Sources" folder in your app library.
- Click on "SideQuest Installer"
- Log in to your profile on the top right and your ready to start downloading apps right from your Quest 2!
Side note, it's going to show the red dot on the SideQuest logo that usually signifies that you are not connected to your device, but that's only because you are already on your device. Also note that when you try your first download, you have to give the app access. You only have to do this once, then your good to download whatever you want!
