I was wondering if there is a section on here for all these updates people seem to find on reddit?
I'm not a reddit user and I come here for news as this is the Oculus forum.
I hate to create more work for you but If there isn't something specific @cybereality would you be able/willing to create a locked sticky for the latest news that only you can update? It's sometimes tough to filter through all the random posts to find actual information on here.
It's a little sad that we have to trudge through reddit to find OFFICIAL oculus updates... meanwhile on the OFFICIAL Oculus forums there is a void of information.

I just find it a bit confusing. I'm not into reddit so I'm not that good at finding official posts on there. I just tend to find stuff on here after people post about it. I'm still surprised that we don't get email updates tbh.

This has been mentioned numerous times, but nothing's happened. You'd think that SOMEONE from Oculus would care enough to post (even if it's a simple copy and paste job) official comments and statements from Reddit and Twitter.
The problem is that the people who update on Reddit also do on Oculus share not realizing what that forum is for, although the three updates in over a year can all be found on Reddit.

Totally agree with you! But this place is the first port of call for any potential Oculus customer to find information. The Oculus home page links to this forum, not to Twitter/Reddit/Mad magazine/whatever!
I've always thought that it would make more sense for the PR guys to make announcements here and then link this forum on reddit etc! There may be a good reason that we are overlooking?
