When I spoke to meta support to report this as a bug they suggested posting it here as a feature request.
The quest 3 turns off the screens immediately on taking off the headset (ignoring the display screen timeout in the settings). This can cause the eyes to go out of sync when the screens coming back on when used with PC syncing software (e.g. Virtual Desktop) which causes one eye to lag the other causing a feeling of drunkenness (restarting the application is the only solution).
Feature request: Add a timeout setting for the screens turning off when the headset is taken off in order to work around this bug (or fix the bug I guess)
