Shipment date?

will we ever find out what shipment were in for sure? i know the order number gave a rough estimate but i was right in the middle of first and second shipments according to that.

I don't think you'll get an answer because the simpler questions haven't been answered yet. Questions, like how long will the DK2 be supported once CV1 arrives? Will DK2 be able to access the Oculus store? When will DK2 get Runtime 1.0? I think they just wait until things happen first and when it happens it's classed as your answer. So, maybe my DK2 will be useful today and not tomorrow. Maybe Dk2 will have access to the Oculus store once Cv1 gets it, but maybe not. Maybe your order will show up one day without you having a clue about the date first..ect

I don't want to sound negative and all, but the only talk about CV1 in these forums is amongst the community. Nothing seems to be said from Oculus themselves, unless off course I'm in the wrong forum and there is talk else where.

^ dk2 and support with cv1 apps and vice versa has nothing to do with the mans question nor is it more important than first getting an answer to the more simpler question about our ship dates lol, this guy, trying to hijack the dudes thread with his own selfish inquery

all that is irrelevant, anyways OP, they said they are working on it, be patient, very soon, i know it sucks, just try to be patient

I was merely saying if we haven't had an answer to whats happening with DK2 at this stage, then he will be lucky to get an answer about shipping of the CV1. This is the only answer I could give him unless someone has his shipping date. I didn't say it was more important to get the simpler questions answered first, so there's no reason to twist my words. I was meaning you would expect DK2 owners to have had some answers by now because they've already purchased this device and asked these questions. The OP sounded like he has been waiting for some time for an answer judging by his post, so I was just expanding on the lack of answers to any questions instead of making a new thread about it.

Also, why is my inquiry Selfish? I purchased a product and I'd like to know whats going to happen to it. What's so selfish about that LOL. I'd be a fool for not asking such questions if you ask me.

@OP: No shipment dates yet. I think we will only be getting them last minute.

i dont want to just one random day check my back account see $630 gone. That'd be some bullshit, ive been saving money and its in the form of cash so i really need to know beforehand when its shipping so i can deposit it.

I'll try to give you an answer without been selfish :lol: CyberReality mentioned somewhere that they were trying to add the date to your order at some point, but when that will be or if it happens is anyones guess. There you go now and all without a mention of my DK2...Whoops I just mentioned it :lol:

I don't know your financial situation, but why not just deposit it now so it's there when they charge you, or wait till the charge comes then deposit the money the next day?
