I hope it's June but have not seen anything other than first DK2s in July and new orders are apparently being told August now.
Morpheus was going to developers in June but seems many already have been getting them. Could you be thinking of Morpheus? I haven't seen any mentions of DK2 in June other than people crossing their fingers.

They said they would ship in June at some point? As far as I know it has been July from the day one of pre-orders and then changed to August at some point. And, once again, they would say if they knew they weren't shipping in July / if there were changes. I bet they would do that sooner than later to avoid bigger whining about being slow et cetera.
Edit: Let me clarify bit: If you pre-ordered quickly enough (during March/April) yours will ship in July. Only newer orders will ship in August.
You are right it was July.. guess was just eager to get my hands on it. I'll wait patiently, but some communication would be great. A countdown, a bi-weekly ping on the subject. Terrible communication, but maybe they are busy getting it right. So i'll just chillax.

Sorry if I sound negative, but oh Oculus communicates with community to reasonable level alright :D. You see Cyber and other Oculus employees here on forums quite often, answering to peoples' questions or just commeting to cool stuff et cetera. They just can't tell us exact time when they ship simply because they don't know it yet. They have to be pretty sure about things before saying anything.
What? If anything the Facebook deal ensured they would be able to get all of their orders out on time, why would you think it would hinder the process? I generally think you'll find that a retailer isn't just going to keep sending you updates if your order is on target to ship out on schedule until it's actually in route to your destination. If it was delayed then there would be cause to let you know, but since it hasn't, don't expect to hear anything about it until that time. When you pre-order a game from Amazon that isn't expected to ship for a few months do they email you every week to tell you that your product is still going to ship on time? No, they send you something if there is a delay or a shipping confirmation when it leaves their processing center.
