Shipping time EUROPE ONLY

Hello,

I know theres a couple more threads at least regarding the shipping situation of the summer bundles but we have people form all regions mixed in them, so we share and get info not relevant to our own region sometimes.

That's why I think a thread centered on Europe orders and shipping times will be useful to all of us in the region. It's very surprising to me the absolute lack of info, both on the main site and during the ordering proccess, also later when contacting support, it seems we users need to help each other to get some light on the whole situation.

So please share your experience and status of your order, mine was ordered on the 16th so first day to count is really the 17th, of course is still at "order" status and support gave me the usual no ETA copy/paste answer. I'm in Spain BTW.

Just ordered from coolblue and cancelling from oculus. It's a bit more expensive but with that vendor I'm sure I won't lose time (and money) trying to have a valid invoice for my purchase as I buy the rift as a company. Shipping scheduled tomorrow.

Update: order canceled after 7 minutes.

Same boat as everyone else,been on order from 21 july,saw on amazon this morning £399+£6 delivery,dispatched and on its way,on a weeks hols,only had fence to repair tomorrow,now that can wait on order.Rifting to the max instead,is Eve Valkyrie worth £30 notes or is anything else better,cheers  Rifters

So, here's my story. Ordered on 15-th of July, and didn't get any order update. So I ordered from Amazon.De on 20-th. And received both Oculus Touch and Oculus Rift today. Got the old package with XBOX controller included.
But package came in weird condition- everything inside the box was loose. Sensors were not held inside the box, both in Uclus Rift and Oculus Touch. And the worst thing is that Remote Controller inside Rift box also went off from its place inside the box and actually got inside the bay where goggles rest and actually scratched the lens slightly.
I connected everything and I can't really see those scratches while headset is on my head. But the fact that brand new thing came already not perfect makes me upset 😞 ... But not planning to ship them back to Amazon due to all this waiting time...

Thanks to @flexy123 for finding the shipping costs on amazon.co.uk for me since i'm aparently too stupid to find it myself LOL 😉

I ordered on the 29th though so I think I'm just gonna stick with my Oculus order since I don't want to bother with cancelling my Order to go and reorder on Amazon.

+ I just sent in a support ticket where I think I made it pretty clear how annoyed and frustrated I am with how bad the situation is and even wrote that it might be an idea to send out an official update since they have the emails of everyone who ordered. It's not really the fact that I have to wait but more that they havn't told anybody what is going on, I only found out through the forums and that's not good enough and the fact that Amazon is getting restocked but they can't bother to take care of the people on the official oculus store just makes it all a bit more frustrating but as I said I'm keeping my order and can wait without a problem.

I hope we get compensated in someway because that's the least they could do after handeling this situation so bad.

Sounds like you got someone else's return. Glad it's all working and I can see how you wouldn't want to return it, but that would really piss me off. It's worth contacting them and asking them to refund some of your money as you are effectively buying second hand - they'll probably tell you where to go, but you never know.

Very disappointing - I didn't expect this to be shipped the next day, like Amazon Prime - but two weeks now with nothing to indicate when it will be arriving or even shipping - not a great first impression of the dedication and service levels. In my experience, people don't worry as much if they are informed - at least give me an "estimated" shipping date. If you can't do that in 2017, I'm not sure you have much credibility.

Just go with Amazon
