Apparently nVidia doesn't support async compute, so theoretically AMD is 40% faster and has way less latency, now I fully believe the claims in the K&L GE Neuron video, that LiquidVR is the key for us! https://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comment ... t_support/
Have any of you AMD card users noticed lower latency? I see 0.7 has a performance HUD option that shows this. Can we get a comparison or have these new latency busting features not been coded for yet?
Seems like the nVidia drivers have had better support so far, so I don't understand why the OP is so stoked about features that haven't even been implemented. Seems a bit like a Team Red vs Team Green post
I just hope they can make it competitive, it is never good to have one company at the top of the food chain. I have built systems from both "teams" and am not really partial to one or the other. I just want the best I can get :geek:

I hear ya, I was just flinging a little poo for fun ;). I am looking forward to both AMD and nVidia's Crossfire/SLI VR support, but we will need games and apps to support them before we see any sort of gain. I suppose if you are a VR developer, you are probably a bit more excited for these things right now.
