I wonder it is something to do how the sensors pass over to each other!!!

sometimes ill get that, if i try and occlude the touches or am testing tracking by walking to the far corner that doesnt have a sensor. i actually can get it to do much worse if i completely occlude them. but in general no, turning around lightly and moving slowly doesnt tend to do that, but it does happen once in a while.

typically when im stress testing the tracking ill get a lot more agressive (wave my arms in fast circles, criss cross and behind my back, all while walking the border etc) and they do a remarkable job of keeping up and staying stable.
A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text. Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing? A: Top-posting. Q: What is the most annoying thing on forums?

@danknugz - What I'm talking about is getting this without blocking the touches. You would obviously get that if you try and block your Touch controllers because the sensors can't see them. I think this has something to do with when the Touch controllers transition from one sensor to another and that shouldn't happen.

This is exactly the same issue I'm having that lovethis has in this video. It is not just because you are in a corner. It happens when I am in the middle of my play space and I'm in clear view of the 3rd sensor...and sometimes when I turn in other directions...but mostly the 3rd sensor along with the nightmare height issue where I have to keep resetting it every time I play which never happened before the last patch.

it rendered my rift failrly useless,

I had planned on finishing arizona sunshine tonight but seeing as the thing can't even handle IEYTD i'm not gonna waste my time waiting the million years it takes to load.

i opened a ticket with support and 5 days later still no sign of a resolve. piss poor performance to be honest.

I just wish they would do a hot fix or say something. I have a 30 days return with Amazon and don't really want to send this back because like everyone else I waited so long for the controllers. I will contact Oculus support, but judging by the comments on here I'm not sure what they can do. I think it requires a patch and support isn't going to give me one. Right now I just wish I knew it would be fixed for certain in a future patch, but with Oculus not saying a great deal about it I'm not sure what to do.

OMG, that's horrible.  That's so awful I'd say it's working fine and go play a game.

@TwoHedWlf - Then you're easily pleased. All I can say to you is things like this would never get fixed if everyone thought the same. Having jumping hands along with the height bug is zero fun for me. What games do you suggest I play with jumping hands while also growing in height? I have it worse then the YouTube video btw.

Wow, I feel like I may have won the Oculus update lotto because my main issue from before *seems* like it is gone or at least not frequent enough I didn't notice it in the hour I was using the headset.

My issue before with 2 sensors was I'd get some jumpy stutter stuff when I would turn my head 90 degrees to the side like the video above with the hands except my entire image would jump like that. I did a bunch of turns tonight and it didn't happen so it seems either fixed or I didn't play long enough for it to creep up even though before it could happen on the first time turning my head. I am rolling with the default two front facing sensor setup and they are about 6 feet off the ground and around 5 feet spaced apart.

Well, I did notice this sort of issue when I bent down and turned my head in vr fishing but that could have been something else.

So preliminary testing seems to indicate better tracking than I was getting before. Hope that is the case and I'll need more testing to confirm that issue is gone and the height changing issue is also gone.
