So, my pre-order was just cancelled?

I just got an email stating

"This email is a confirmation that your order xxxx placed on January 06 has been cancelled."
Very informative message, considering that I did not cancel, so Oculus just cancelled it, without reason.

Has this happened to anybody else? but most importantly, WTF.. why?
CV1: Ordered 6th Jan 2016 - Est Delivery Some time in May... DK2: Ordered: 8th of Aug 2014 - Delivered: 14 Oct 2014

And the credit card can be from a different country ?

I put two equal addresses but the credit card is from a different country!
But it is an international gold card!
A bank in Luxembourg!
(I do not understand anything about credit cards or bank accounts!)

Can anybody share what is the usual time that Oculus supports get back to you? My order was cancelled and I immediately created a ticket, but got no response, that was more than 35 hours ago... desperate? Yes, I certainly am 😞

As long as your billing address matches the address that the credit card company has on file for you, I would think it should be fine.

DK2, CV1, Go, Quest, Quest 2, Quest 3.

Mine was cancelled but Oculus sent me no email whatsoever. I just logged in and it says there is no order history even though I purchased the DK1, DK2 and Pre-Ordered the CV1 within the first hour and a half of Pre-Orders being live. I live in California.

Mind you I logged in recently and it was all still there. Why my entire order history was erased is beyond me.

I found out today that Chase decided to drop my current card due to a new security chip and I was going to notify OVR today about this so I could fix it only to find my order was no longer there.

Checked the email and no notification whatsoever from Oculus?! I'm beyond pissed off and hoping this is a mere system error and can be easily resolved. If not, OVR just lost another customer/developer to the Vive and I won't be waiting months to get another one.

Not because it is not possible to change the country (GB). In "Payment Method" it is not possible to choose a different country. For this reason I had to use the same address...

So I decided to log in to check my order history as all this talk was making me paranoid and I was dismayed to see that there is no order history, but just before I hit send on the support ticket I decided to go back to my email confirmation and clicked the link, sure enough it took me straight to an active order status and nothing was wrong, perhaps some people are experiencing similar?

Holy Crap, you're right!? Thanks for that, but I need to update my payment method. Chase cancelled my old card without my authority due to some new security chip but gave me no choice to forego that. I really hope I can get this fixed but at least it wasn't cancelled. Fingers crossed I can fix the rest...

To many If and Could be ~

Right now, if you have problems contract support and see what's up. Do to high demand and late of the day here in the US~ I could see it taking up to 48 hours (2 days) for them to get back with you witch is a reasonable time frame for them having to look into the problem and figure out a solution/get back with you on what the problem is.
