So just a little rant so the other day the strap on my quest pro the wheel is worn. Yes my device is covered under warranty, so it’s not a lose. But I have an other damaged unit and so I want to see how hard it was to fix if it was possible. Yes it’s 100 percent possible to fix if meta would supply the part. I mean most people would be able to snap in light cover and the 4 screws. I mean it don’t even give access to the inside of the unit. Also there is no warranty screws until the screws underneath the wheel Assembly, and you don’t even need to touch that. But why waist shipping and labor to send it out if it is replaceable by users. But I refuse to touch the good headset as not to screw with the extended warranty, but why can’t the warranty just send the part which is 100 times lighter than the sending the whole unit. I could understand if it was Accessing the internal but it is not.

@Jumpiestpants04  meta aren't here to save the planet. They want you to buy another headset and put your current one into landfill.

Not the fact about saving the planet it’s just supplying an easy repairable part. That is known to have wear and tear

@Jumpiestpants04  okay, for the sake of just one little cheap part, they still want you to buy a new headset. screw the planet.
