Does steam have problems with Touch controllers? Steam worked perfectly fine for me but I haven't used it since getting touch and now I'm seeing posts of people saying that since they installed touch the scale is way off and they are in the middle of the floor. Steam has a BUNCH of things I want to try out, the amount of titles available dwarfs what we have here. Of course it seems like OH has better quality games, but I still want to try a lot of what steam has to offer. Steam has also automatically added Oculus support listed on games that don't even have support for it and they did this because the controllers were just released. At least some of the developers are informing us of this. The Thrill of the Fight dev posted that, he says it should work, but he's still waiting for his touch controllers to arrive so he can't even test it yet.
Has anyone tried steam since touch came out, is everyone having problems? I can't try it out right now, gotta go to work.
If your head is in the floor, one simple thing you can do is use the 'quick calibrate' option in the Developer section in SteamVR settings (on your desktop, not in VR).
you pick a room size, then place your headset on the floor in the centre of your play space, and click the button. As long as your sensors can see it, you should now have the floor in the correct place. It may affect the dimensions of steam's own chaperone walls, but the guardian will not be affected.
