Store credit and location do not match?

Hi.
for some reason you have given me credit in EUR but my store are in USD... so i think there are something not aligned in your data about what credit users from different location's use.

I'm from Denmark in Europe that are one of the country's that are not in the monitory union of the EUR as we still have our own currency "Kroner" (DKK). i think that is why the store are set for USD instead of EUR....

But why was the Credit then payed in EUR and not USD?

For me it's not that important if the store are in USD or EUR as the money have to be converted any when when i use my credit card (from DKK to EUR or USD)
(IT are depending mostly of the strength between the USD and EUR what are the most favorable for us outside the EUR)
But it are very frustrating to get the Credit in EUR and have the store in USD and be told that you therefore can not use the Credit 😞

By Changing my location by an vpn temporarily to Netherlands i got the store temporarily changed to EUR and was able to use my credit.... but you need to look at this and get this sorted....

by the way i did use an web ip tracker and got confirmed that my normal ip are registered to be in denmark....

Any luck with this?

Im hoping to receive my rift in the next day or two and trying to get my regions currency changed to UK!

Already done, did the usual are you using a VPN etc etc.
Unfortunately due to location think it needs to be a forced change from your side to get it resolved.

Its the weekend so waiting to see what comes in next

Hi, @Gerinako. I'm confused as to what your issue is. Are you having difficulty purchasing games?


Oculus doesn't recognise my IP due to being an offshore jurisdiction.
So defaults me to USD - despite my currency being GBP.

I probably don't have any difficulty purchasing games (haven't tried yet as I'm waiting for a possible sale in 1-2 days...)
It'd just be nice to be in my currency when I do otherwise I'll have to funnel it through Paypal to avoid currency charges.
