Hello, I would much appreciate if there was a way you could get the Oculus Link to at least try to support experimental GPUs, instead of barring us out from the start. Even if it were a developer/experimental toggle.
I'm pretty bummed out that I have to use Virtual Desktop to use any PCVR titles. I understand you don't officially support Intel Arc, but could you please at least try, or at least allow us to try to use our experimental GPUs with Link before blocking us out?

I hope Arc support is being worked on too, we need an alternative to what seems like anti-competitive pricing from the big two. Is your GPU blocked or do you just get a pop-up warning about not being supported?

I strongly agree with your point on anti-competitive pricing. That's actually my main reason for getting Arc, as they were actually reasonable and I feel like I got exactly what I paid for. The card overall feels very sturdy in design, more expensive cards usually feel much more flimsy.
Unfortunately, it just tells me: "Your system's graphics card is incompatible with the Rift system software." and doesn't let me try to do anything. It's like a hard-coded block that doesn't care if it might work, it just immediately bars me out from any possibility of getting anything working, or trying.

Ok thanks for the confirmation, I know some cards get a warning that is annoying but can be ignored, Arc is obviously not in that position. Take-up of these cards will increase and so will the likelyhood of support from Meta, I hope it doesn't take too long.

Please add support for Intel Arc. I got it and am disappointed with the Quest 2 that it doesn't support these new graphics cards 😞
