I just saw this on Reddit /r/Oculus and this game looks amazing. So far only $160 has been backed (out of a $30,000 goal and its still has 29 days left) I'm kickbacking this weekend as soon as I get paid. This game looks fantastic.

Backed too. 😄
Promising gameplay so far.

I have watched a demo video and I thought it would be nice if you could add Razer Hydra support with virtual hands.
That would be more immersive and easier to control the game while standing. I don't like to carry a keyboard and mouse around.
Is there an inventory you can display on screen ?

lol. Sit down! I'm not sure if we're going to support the Hydra / Stem yet. I'm trying to follow the best practices guide as closely as possible to hit the widest audience I can. Oculus has said that they're targeting a "seated experience".
I understand that some hardcore people (like yourself ;)) like to stand up, but most people get a little sick with a controller. If we get enough funding though, It will definitely go in though. It's just a cost / benefit thing at this point. For now I would recommend sitting and playing with the mouse.

There will be an inventory screen, and a body for the player in the final release though for sure.

I really want to try this out before I back it but I sold my rift to get DK2. If this is substantially better than that Asunder: Earthbound thing (1/5 for me), I will back it.

Maybe try to get someone to bring it to a local meetup so you can try it. I'll be presenting at the one in Toronto early next month. Thanks for backing 🙂 I'll try to get positional tracking in for your DK2s arrival.

Asunder is great also. I'm sure what they're working on next will be even better 🙂

$100 backed 🙂

Asunder: Earthbound was great in that you could communicate with NPC:s by nodding or shaking your head. You should add that, and speech recognition too!

Downside was that the graphics quality was quite bad, especially faces, the models felt off (the arm looked way too thin), the demo itself was very limited and it relied on an anti-immersive messaging system. This certainly looks quite a bit better, but I will see if I can look at it through a Rift to make sure.

Watched the demo 3D video on my Rift and backed it straight away. Looks so future retro 😄 Really hope it gets fully funded.

I really hope this kickstarter is a success for you 🙂
It is one of the most compelling worlds built for the rift so far, even though it is just a little demo right now.

I would love to explore a wjole city in that style.

Best of luck! 😄

This game has to be made. Just pushed this baby over the 10.000CAD with a Notorious pledge and will try to promote this as much as I can. A cyberpunk experience as cyberpunk has to be experienced in the making. 8-)
