Does it feel like the other button when pushed? Seems like it would have to be hardware, at least if the A button on the game pad works ok. I don't know if you can get medium running with the problem, but if so you can try the swap hands action and see if it works then.

It feels like the other buttons. I have not installed medium yet, and I do not understand the swap hands action. However I will try it when I get home today.
In Medium the controllers have different functions, based on your handedness. (ordinarily) You do the work with right hand and have the tool menu stuff in left hand. You have a selection in the home menu of Medium to swap hands if you are left handed or need to do work with left hand. In which case the function of the A button changes from one controller to the other. If it still doesn't work it's software, if it does work it's hardware.

The "A button" on my Oculus Touch stopped working too. I returned one set of Oculus Touch controllers thinking it was defective. I used the new set for one day and once again.... the A button is not working. Any ideas? I might just have to return the whole system if I can't trust the controllers.
