The Oculus Touch box from Best Buy COMES WITH A SENSOR.

I comes with another sensor, the microphone looking thing.  If I had known this it would be a no brainer to buy.  I think a lot of people don't know this too.

Yes, Touch includes a sensor. The box sold at Best Buy (or other retailers) is the same as from Oculus.

Thats been common knowledge since Oculus announced Touch I always argued with folks complaining about the price tag that with the included software and extra sensor we were pretty much getting the controllers for free.

I still think that the standalone sensors are over priced, even after the $20/£20 price cut. I've already got a USB 2.0 extension going spare so when I have the cash available I'm just going to buy another set of Touch controllers. That way I'll have a couple of spares just in case my current ones go tits up. It's only $40/£40 more expensive so you might as well.

Puts the bed all those that said TOUCH can work well with only two sensors - now all that is needed is the release of the major software update to address the remaining issues before E3.

How's that work?  The touch including a sensor means the many people with good tracking using two sensors are not working well?

My setup is working fine with two sensors. The original Rift sensor + the Touch sensor = the officially supported setup.

DK2, CV1, Go, Quest, Quest 2, Quest 3.

Glad to hear your own set-up works well @nalex66 - though you are aware that others have not had the same experience, and the three sensor approach is hoped to address this (along with the new update).

Two sensors only here ... works 100% so I did wonder why another sensor was needed.  But now I gather for some unknown reason there are users for whom 2 sensors does not work fully, is that correct ?

2 sensors in opposing corners work well for everybody, 3 sensors just works better because you have less occlusion. With 2 in opposing corners if you slowly turn 360 degrees you'll notice a slight hitch where the hands change their position slightly when vision goes from one sensor to the other. It's not a big deal but this doesn't happen with 3 or 4 sensors I think.
