I just saw an ad on one of my videos for this. Pretty interesting stuff and uses VR headsets. Based in London where the HG Wells story partially takes place. Tickets cost about £50. Makes you wonder if all these places pooled together to make one big theme park.

That does look awesome... But why is it being limited to a physical location?! Why aren't they selling tickets and/or recording it to sell to people to experience in VR at home?! I want in... but will probably never visit London.

Because you do more than just put on a VR headset. The VR is just once aspect. From what I can tell there are physical scenes and actors etc. So like I said, much more akin to a theme-park experience. Lol imagine having all the actors and props invade your home!

Seems a bit silly and somewhat immersion breaking. Kinda like "grabbing" someone who is in the middle of the Richie's Plan Experience in order to scare them. It's more a parlor trick that breaks immersion for a quick scream and laugh, but not sure you can really make an entire experience around it.
I wouldn't mind trying it out just to give a review on it. But even if they had one here in Texas, considering the pandemic is still alive and well, I wouldn't try it anytime soon.
Interesting concept though. When I was a youngen, my uncle had this cassette tape collection that had the war of the worlds story with some great music. I used to listen to it all the time. I'm definitely a fan of the story.

That would have been Jeff Wayne's War Of The Worlds. One of my favourite albums! 😎
A bull's eye for a ticket is a bit too rich for my blood though!!! ☹️
