Looking forward to the Quest 3 to add to the collection with the Rift, Go, Quest 1, Quest 2, and Quest Pro. Are Quest Pro owners going to get some kind of discount on the Quest 3? I was a pre-order and paid the full $1500 USD ($2500 AUD). And then there was a price drop of $500 USD I think it would only be fair when you look at the Quest Pro was a testing ground for the Quest 3. eg. Colour pass-through, Lidar etc.

I think that'd be a great idea! It's not something we know for sure yet, but I'd say keep an eye out on the forums or even the Quest blog for upcoming updates and promotions! 😁✨

It was being given on an individual basis I think so no guarantee it's still being done but there's a good chance you'll get it if it is, you just need to have some info ready, it's detailed in that thread.

Looks like a win for standalone mobile vr users. I’m mainly using my 7mo Quest Pro for pcvr wireless with Air Link so I doubt that the Q3 is going to be a must buy, for me anyway.

I just spoke to Meta. They couldn't help me. They said that that promotion has ended. They did say that they were price-matching the new price to the Pre-order price.
They said to keep an eye out on the blog post for when the promotion comes up again. I doubt it ever came up in the first place.
They said they wouldn't do the store credit either.
