Third sensor still coast way too much

Third sensor still coast way too much for what essentially is
a requirement. Top of that for your third sensor you will also  have to
purchase a compatible extension cable and a compatible mounting system. Oculus
needs to come out with a third sensor option while keeping all this in mind
instead of selling a third sensor as a break fix which is not why most people are
buying one.

The third sensor comes with a extension cable, I was happy with the new price drop enough to purchase a third sensor. 🙂

It does? I does not say anything under the description. How long is the total length of the cable?

never mind it say 5 meter extension cable included when you add it to your cart. Good start, price still needs to be cut in half though and it still needs to come with a wall mount.

You need to add it to the cart to see it.

Shit should be free. Everything should be free and not cost money.

Matter of fact, shouldn't they pay us to use the third sensor, and their beta updates? 😉

But srsly, @zork2001, Oculus Rift was originally meant, and still is meant, to be a front-facing VR experience. No one says you have to try the "experimental 360-degree tracking" setup. The third sensor, if anything, adds more processing load that is unnecessary for most Oculus experiences, and can cause issues for some PC hardware setups.

Could have fooled me with how much everyone wants to claim
that the rift tracking system is as good as the Vives.

How much is it now?  $60 and it comes with an extension cord?  What is a fair price?  Should they pay us $30 to take off of them?  People are so god damn cheap it's cringeworthy.

I guess I am the opposite LOL.
Rather than pay 60 bucks just for the third sensor, I would pay 100 and just get another set of Touch Controllers which includes another sensor. Then I would have an extra set of Touch in case I should screw mine up ( like throwing hard into a wall or something LOL).
