Anyone else have their touch ship from Oculus but not receive any game codes? I've been casually asking in other people's threads but haven't really seen an answer or anyone else asking the question, so I'm wondering if it's just me. Cybereality said in another thread that the codes should be in the order history after the package ships, but all I've got there is the tracking number and order number. It's possible they could be sent out on launch day, but if there's an issue I'd like to resolve it before the controllers arrive.
I'm in the same exact situation as you. I've received all the normal emails and notifications all the way up to the tracking numbers etc. All of that looks good and my Touch is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, but no sign of the software codes anywhere. It seems like most people received the email with the software codes on the same day they received the shipping notice email. For some reason that didn't happen for us. The more concerning thing for me (because emails get lost - things happen), I'm more worried about the fact that for other people the Orders show up in their Order page. That seems to make me think that something is broken somewhere. It sounds like this isn't something which will 'fix itself'; a part of the process broke for us and probably requires Customer Support to fix. I'd open a ticket if you haven't already.
Thanks for the reply. I wasn't wanting to bother support if it wasn't really an issue, but I think I'll open a ticket. Because this is the internet, I expected at least one person to be complaining here or on reddit that they didn't have game codes yet if nobody had them, but I haven't seen that. Makes me think that most people received their codes as expected and we are the unlucky few.
Same here, no codes. Touch arriving tomorrow. You think that Oculus would be proactive and say exactly when the keys will be issued. That would prevent unnecessary post and support tickets. I just submitted a support ticket. Not going to wait, getting the Touch controllers tomorrow and want to be able to use it!!!!
