I've done just that, and I don't really notice it anymore.

I've been ignoring it since I got it.  Saw that there was a way to remove it by editing registry.  I'm not messing with that, so I'll just ignore it.  I don't even notice it anymore.

Every time someone asks for it Oculus moves the release date back a day for the option to disable it.  It is currently scheduled for 12/06/9053.

If you cannot find it within yourself to ignore the message. (that you wont actually ever see when you're playing any game) I used the search bar at the top right of the page to find an old link that should help you.

If you see the instructions and are still not deterred, and are also easily annoyed by the health and safety warning.

I've finally managed to accept the fact that it's never going to be removed and started ignoring it. However every time a friend or family member tries my Rift and says "hey, there's a notice here saying your PC doesn't meet the requirements" all I hear is "Your PC is A FUCKING TOASTER, get a job and buy a new one, loser!" and I have to begin the agonizing process of accepting my life situation all over again

I feel so sorry for myself

Some of us are more secure in our PC manhood and can confidently say to them, "Shutup asshat, it's better than your POS."
