I have two CV1 headsets. One from my work and one personal. The main reason I have two is for testing multi-user support in a product. I have them both in my office. I'm wondering if there is anything special I can do with two headsets?
I read something about the Oculus headset supporting up to four sensors. If so how do I use two sensors with one headset? Do I just plug it into the USB device? Is two sensors better than one? What would be the advantage of two sensors with one headset?
Yes, you just plug in the other sensor bar. Imagine having one sensor and turning around so the head strap is all it can see, now bend your neck and look at something on the ground. Suddenly you lose your connection. Now imagine doing the same thing but having a sensor bar on the other side of your desk or behind you. You would no longer lose tracking in this instance. So yes two bars are better than one, not sure about having 3 or even 4.
