I didn't go on about this as to be honest, I havn't really been as excited about the DK2 as I was the 1.. I only really want to see "Titans Of Space" and in truth was happy to wait months until more demos/games had come along.. It was a bit of a surprise when I got a shipping note, but I can't say I was "excited"
My only concern is the far of ending up out of pocket with this.. And I am frustrated by UPSs total lack of respect to my and to the shipper (OR)... Its a disgrace that they would leave a parcel on the door step (Assuming thats what they did).
But my weekend couldn't get any worse really and I am blaming this on the lack of my DK2.. After finding it wasn't here on Friday I decided that I needed to kill and hour or so.. So I decided to take my new FPV RC plane that I had built out for another flight.
The first battery went well.. The 2nd even better, so I decided to break my distance limit.. Went out 1000m.. Turned.. VIdeo feed went.. Flicked in the "Return to home" feature (Which I had tested endlessly).. And never saw it again..
Spent all of yesterday walking around a 300,000m2 area looking for it, but there is no sign.. GUTTED.. Thats 3 months work and £300 down the drain.. And its all UPSs fault 🙂
I am joking obviously.. But I can't get it out of my head that IF it had turned up.. I would obviously have unpacked it to take a look.. And then I am certain to have had a go.. And I would never have gone on that flight.
