Update: CLS USB 3.0 PCIe card is not compatible with sensors.

Anyone tried the CLS USB 3.0 PCIe card? I have the Innatek one already which was working fine with 3 sensors until yesterday so I was thinking of buying another one to spread the bandwidth as I cant use my onboard ASmedia hubs.

I seen the CLS one on Amazon so ordered that as it will be delivered tomorrow and the Innatek ones were not going to delivered till next week and im too impatient for that.

Im sure it will work just the same but if anyone has one would be good to know if it works ok.

Do you have an ASUS motherboard? Even though they are not officially supported, I downloaded the ASUS USB drivers for my 2 ASmedia 3.0 ports dated Aug 2016 and after a restart they came back as supported and have worked perfectly with my sensors.

Yeah mate Asus P9X79, I have the latest Asus driver installed that was meant to sort the problem  but I still get the error message for the sensors, the HMD usb is ok though.

Driver 1.16.35.1

The Innatek was causing my pc to crash and reboot (7 times since I got it, according to event log), which is not acceptable. I had a lot of device disconnects also. After looking around I decided to buy a new motherboard with 6 usb3 ports and just skip the pci card hubs.
Of course, I then decided it was time to upgrade the cpu and memory, so my $90 cure has turned into a $450 upgrade. If it's more stable it will be worth it though.
If someone does have a good experience, please post the brand and model, I'm still interested anyway.

@PhilSurtees I have been very close to doing the same, the problem for me is finding a skt 2011 motherboard for my 3930k, so I was looking at upgrading cpu, cooler, mobo and ram. I was talked out of it though as the upgrade just wouldnt be value you for money and the performance benefits aren't there. That might change when AMD release ryzen though.

Ive not really had any issues with the Innatek card, but I think having 3 sensors on the one card is pushing it. The CLS card arrives tomorrow so il update the thread if works ok or not.

Oculus recommends putting the third sensor on USB 2.0 to avoid a bandwidth overload. That's how I set-up my third sensor and the tracking has been perfect.

Yeah I know but it was working great for over a week with everything on USB 3 so id like to try and get that working again as if I put one on USB 2 whenever there is a glitch il be questioning if it has something to do with one being on USB 2 and 2 on USB 3. Got the card in the PC now, but im also doing a clean install of windows so I will get a better idea over the next few days.

Can confirm this card doesn't work, so gonna stick with the recommended 2 x usb 3 and 1 x usb 2 for now. Might look into getting another Innatek card.
