I have the original Rift headset but all my games are stored on my PC. If I upgraded to the Quest 2 how can I get the software off the PC to the headset? Will, it run the games from my PC or does it use a different system. I see they have a cable that con connects the quest 2 to a pc so my understanding is if I use the cable I can use the Quest 2 with a PC. Trying to make the system / upgrade simple

Rift games can not be transferred to quest to play natively without a pc. That said you might have some cross buy games that can be downloaded to the quest.. So check the thread "cross-buy quest/rift". https://www.oculus.com/experiences/quest/section/2335732183153590 However you can stream rift games to the quest via virtual desktop, plenty of youtube videos show you how to set up virtual desktop. https://www.vrdesktop.net/ the link cable just allows you to use the quest 2 as a rift s, so you get a nice bump in resolution and refresh rate. https://support.oculus.com/394778968099974/?locale=en_US
