Using Oculus for Laptop

I have two graphics cards in my laptop, Intel HD Graphics 630 and NVIDIA GTX 1050 and I was wondering if it would work with the automatic switch of them when Browsing to Gaming. And if not is there any other solution, can I get someone to modify the HDMI so i can play with only the GTX 1050?

It's not possible to disable the Intel HD Graphics 630 in the BIOS and only run the NVidia?

Sorry if I can't help, I'm a little confused why one would have this option of video cards in a laptop...

The GTX1050 does not meet minimum specs for the Rift. You need to be very careful when choosing a laptop for the Rift.
The HDMI connection for the Rift must also be connected directly to the graphics card, not the motherboard.

You could run the Rift compatibility program to check your laptop......

The compatibility tool is not applicable for laptops. The only laptops certified to work with the Rift are the "Oculus Ready" ones.
