I will be getting an operation on my eyes to replace my natural lenses with multifocal/trifocal lenses which should make me see clearly in far distance, middle distance (60-70cm) and short distance (30-40cm). Today the doctor told me that i might need some help to use vr glasses after the operation because my eyes are shorter than 30cm from the screen. Therefore i might need +1 dpt lenses (like from VR wave) to correct that?!
I have done some research myself and came across the information that the focal distance of Quest should be around 1.3 meters?! Im not very good in technical stuff, but doesnt that mean that i should be fine using Q3 if i can see clearly in the distance with my new lenses? If the doctor was right then i should not need glasses right now since im only nearsighted, right?
Does anyone have personal experiences or technical insight of what to expect from using my Quest after getting those new multifocal lenses?
