Seems a no brainer so I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone make a demo of board games such as Chess, Checkers, Go, Othello, etc. using the Hydra to move the pieces. Has something like this been worked on? Its easy to imagine that Chess Master series will release a VR version and all the cool pieces, boards, room setting and virtual (or real life) opponents in the future. Same goes with all sorts of public domain and copy right board games.
That said, I'd love to see a VR version of Laser Chess.
