Hey guys, I ordered a VR cover way back on April 23. They said it would ship by the 10th of May but it has not. I was wondering if anyone else had theirs delayed in this way? I've written their support about it but no response yet. Just curious basically.
Mine shipped a few days ago. It is coming from Germany so it will take a while for it to get here. The impression I have got is it is a small company and they probably cant make very many at a time.
Small company that only started up with DK2 really ~ The are very out going on their support, but I am sure they are struggling on demand at this time.
I got mine this week but I ordered on first day and within an hour after ordering I noticed that orders went from april 26th ish to mid may really quick. That being said even with an april 26th estimate I only got mine this past week.
Which is not nearly as bad as my Vive VR covers, I ordered them a few days after I ordered my vive so around march 4th or 5th I just received a notification that they are shipping from germany yesterday. So maybe this week maybe next week.
It's also curious that new orders for Rift covers(i.e. if you go buy one right now) are slated to ship the 24th. Which is what originally made me suspicious. If you can order one right now and get it then, it seems less likely they are behind. Well, either way I wrote them. I will see what they say.
FWIW, on my US order, I ordered on 4/22, and it was processed/tracking in Germany 5/4, and got to New York 5/11, and left New York 5/13. I'd expect it here this week.
