Vive this...Vive That....The painful wait for touch controllers....

Seems like every other day another fun game gets released for the vive because of it's controllers - are all the game producers holding back on releasing games until Oculus finally releases theirs?? Yes we have been seeing a few games here and there - just can't wait until we get some actual "Interactive" games to come our way. Yes i'm being pissy 🙂 I have got to the point of maybe playing my rift once a week because nothing really "Exciting" has come out that interests me.

To those saying the Vive looks like a prototype:
You're right. Looking at my vive it does look like some unfinished prototype from an optical perspective. That being said it works flawlessly. Had i kept my Rift (I sold it) I would be sitting here steaming and waiting for oculus touch. I am enjoying tons of Roomscale games instead. And no it is not just experiences. There is more good content available than time to play. I haven't even had the time to try out the fantastic Raw Data.

Oculus better starts to buy yet another developer or they will have to sit by and watch how Vive owners play Star Trek Bridge Crew with motion controllers.

This is the primary reason I haven't decided on the Vive or Rift yet... The Touch Controllers!! Waiting for them to release the date and price makes me want to go and get the Vive right now...

You need 4 sensors to get a precise room and touch tracking.

I am skeptic on product using too many USB port.

You are so wrong... you can do roomscale with 2 sensors.

Yap, without the fidelity. No thanks. I would prefer 2 with seated experience with Touch.

They are not available for years now. You can only buy them used for way too high prices. They aren't all that accurate and they are cable bound. People use them with the CV1 to get a glips of roomscale VR. Definatly not worth buying unless you got money to burn.
