Vorpx vs. Vireiro vs. TriDef Which one do you prefer?

I know this has probably been discussed before, but I feel like that
discussion was quite a while ago and since new games and sdks came out
in the meantime, I want you guys, who already got their CV1, share your
experiences with the different programs.

What are tho pro's and con's of each and which one would you recommend and why?

Sure, I should be able to post my L4D2 settings tonight.

Am I right in thinking VorpX has a feature that lets you upload good game profiles for others to use from within VorpX?

I thought there was a way to share config, but I haven't found it yet. Then again, I haven't really looked hard.

I've only tried VorpX so I won't vote in the poll, but I like it.

I've used it to play Antichamber for a few hours.. worked very niceless.  Borderlands 2 mostly worked (after I tweaked the UI scaling and such) but when I stood near objects or enemies it became apparent that my hand+gun models were hilariously oversized. Oops.   An attempt to run Warhammer: Vermintide with it likewise had gorgeous looking level geometry, but my weapons were out of proportion and off screen..   In Psychonauts I got pretty good 3D effect, but needed to use the Virtual Desktop mode to see the game UI at all.

And speaking of which, I've probably used it for the virtual desktop mode more than anything.  At the moment, it's the only way I can find to watch Netflix / Youtube / Hulu / etc. on my Rift, and I'm pleased at how well the videos' image quality is preserved.

Now if only I could figure out how to get it to run Shantae 2 (in the virtual desktop) and Grim Dawn ... then I'd really be a happy camper.

It's hard being the voice of reason when you're surrounded by unreasonable people.

@edmg Were  you able to find your L4D2 settings?  Would still love to see them as a baseline.

Also, to ask again, do you guys turn on the 3Dmode for games that have it natively?

So I've tested Vorpx and it is great.
The games don't even make me feel sick, fov is good in most cases, 3d is great, headtracking works. Tried CS:GO, Left 4 Dead 2, Contagion, No more Room in Hell, Bioshock, Fallout 4, World of Warcraft and Dark Messiah so far.
Of course the games need a little bit of tweaking here and there but it's worth it. I'd say you have to tweak about 10-15 mins the first time you fire up a game but as soon as you've found the right settings you can instantly apply them the next time you want to play so the tweaking issue does only bother a bit at the first start up.

I can really recommend the programm! 🙂
