Bugger, bought it couple of weeks ago in anticipation of dk2 support

No matter, it's a cracking game even at fullprice and without the rift. Though here's hoping support comes soon .

Bought it a few months ago for around the same discount, was fantastic in dk1 and am sure will be even better in dk2. Hopefully support comes in the next few weeks.

I would really like to get this but only for the Rift and these guys don't sound like they are really in a hurry to support that.

Last i heard the team were at Nordschleife testing grip physics for tyres or something with 5 or 6 supercars and some professional race drivers . Big update is planned for the end of this month so it's a good time to get stuck into it just don't be in any hurry for DK2 support as the request page is up to about 60 pages deep and counting .

Weird. I was about to do an internet search for whether AC supported DK2. You fine gentlefolk have saved me the trouble.

Who's awesome? You're awesome. Yeah, you.

Thanks for the tip! I almost bought this a few days ago but decided to wait until I have my DK2. At this price though, I didn't think twice about getting it. Hopefully it'll support DK2 once I get mine in october.

There is a rift thread here which I assume at the moment is for the DK1

http://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index.php?forums/controllers-and-peripherals-bugs-issues.19/

You need to associate your steam account to see it........tedious.

Someone posted the DK2 solution. Needs VorpX.

DK2 = Extended Desktop with the rift being the primary monitor
Launch AC -- Set RES to 1920x1080 74/75hz
Launch vorpX - (It has crashed a few times.. just keep launching it..)
open the vorpX control panel form the system tray and change some settings
Display/Monitor drop down is set to system default
Oculus Profile is set to Do not use a profile (use the ingame app to set your IPD and vignette) (remember your IPD for later..)
everything else leave unchecked.

TrackIR I changed the tracking to (one : one) and as always I disabled the XYZ axis because AC still has issues with those getting stuck..
Freetrack might work..

When you launch the game you will receive an error about tracking... even though its off.. just hit enter..
Once in the game hit DEL and start changing the vorpX settings... IPD calibration tool is on the second page/tab.. this is the best way to calibrate your eyes..

If you need to edit something and you haven't figured out how to look at the desktop cross-eyed.. just hit the power button on top of your DK2.. This will throw everything back on your main screen.. When you're done turn the DK2 back on you're ready to go.

Best racer on DK1. DK2 support will likely be end of September when they release their new graphics update.Great game, and great value for money even at full price.
