Hi everyone, I’ve had the Meta quest 3s for about a week now And I’m constantly asking questions on Facebook and contacting me support. They’ve suggested that I started a discussion on here.
So here’s things that from my experience that I would like to see New on the meta quest 3S In the future
More accessibility options, cheap among them VoiceOver capabilities and dictation capabilities and the abilities to change the font on keyboards.
I would also personally greatly benefit from improved graphics and improved clarity. I don’t play games yet because I am new to VR but being visually impaired I could see myself greatly benefiting from at least decreased awareness of the fresnel lenses, If not better quality visuals.
What do you guys think? What else would you guys benefit from with updates? I didn’t go for the meta quest three because I am new to VR and couldn’t justify full price for something I knew I would need to get accessories for anyway.
I would love if the Meta quest team could take all of our issues into consideration to give us the best quality experience possible

This is mostly where the Quest 3 would come in.
In order to reduce the cost of the Quest 3s vs the Quest 3, one thing they did was use the older lenses and panel of the Quest 2 instead of the much better Quest 3. So the Quest 3s ends up with lower resolution, worse lenses and lower field of view.
The Quest 2 was still fine, but after using a Quest 3 it's hard going back to fresnel lenses. In particular they have almost edge to edge clarity, they don't get blurry around the sides.

I suspected as much, but I thought I would add it in just in case some of it could be fixed with updates if not the clarity then the graphics. Another thing I’ve discovered that they might be looking into adding anyway is BBC iPlayer does not have an app within the big screen app and it comes up as not available in my country when I go onto it through the browser through big screen. I think the big screen app would greatly benefit from The BBC iPlayer app as well as any others that I’m missing because the quality being on the normal browser is greatly inferior. Compared to your what’s provided on big screen,

Adding to my observations, BBC iPlayer could be added to big screen in order to benefit from upscaling. The ability to navigate through the desktop Also only allows for you to jump from place to place within your boundary Despite using the controller to get to different points. It would be nice to explore the entire desktop world and not just a tiny part of it
