What’s Missing From Today’s VR Social Experiences?

VR has come a long way when it comes to social features—voice chat, avatars, and virtual hangouts are standard now. But it still feels like something’s missing.

What would make hanging out in VR feel more real or fun? Better body tracking? More immersive environments? Custom worlds that stay the same when you come back?

@Longno1  custom homes that you could tailor to your taste, where you could collect rewards for games acquired and played, where you could meet up with friends and play music and watch videos......... Oh bugger!

@oculusness Totally agree. Having a personal space to hang out, show off stuff, and chill with friends would make VR feel way more real.

@Longno1  We had all of that...

.....such a huge step backward😢

I think there is still a serious lack in avatar customisation. Second Life and VR Chat should be the model, not a simple RPG character creator.
