I ordered the Rift + Touch combo on Tuesday morning (EST) and was told it would process/ship in the next two days. But here I am three days later and still no tracking number, no notification, no nothing.
I know they are backed up, but can anyone who has ordered recently give an idea of if/when I might expect this? Are we talking next week or next month?
Anyone here order in the last week? What is your status?
Good communication is the key to happy customers and you would think Oculus had learned this lesson already. They should give out what information they have even if it is sorry we did not expect this demand (you should have as this is the total sweet spot for price to get people in) and have sold out of the initial stock. New single boxed packs have not been built in enough numbers yet so it will be X weeks. Don't keep people in the dark as this is what caused such a stink with the initial Rift launch. This should be the best news story for them in a while and really get the numbers up but they need to communicate, communicate, communicate.
My issue exactly, I have no issue with waiting, what I have an issue with is the "No ETA" which is BS. They are almost assuredly in talks with the supplier, so they know when manufactor shipment is ETA. Im happy to wait a while, I just want to know roughly how long, days/weeks/months.
I ordered on 16th and have not be charged yet. Order status still shows "Order". I honestly wouldn't have a problem with this if I had a clue what was going on. Just tell me that it's going to take 4-6 days to process and I'll patiently wait.
So far a week, I've ordered last Wednesday, and i've sit on Ordered since then with no changes. 2 support Tickets later they've all said the same copy paste BS, Everything is fine, we're busy, it's taking a long time, no eta. blah blah.
Give us something, like at least tell us what is the average wait time since the first people that ordered. I'm ok with waiting, I'm not ok with waiting with no update at all.
I ordered mine at 5:00AM on the 12th. They finally took my money last night!!!! 😄 So... I'm still stuck on Order, but at least I feel like something is happening for once... lmao

To let you know, I ordered mine on the 14th to the UK, and i just got the shipped email with tracking numbers (2 so it's the soft bundle) at 5pm
Amazing for you ! Did it ship from Netherlands ? Good to know they have some amount of old bundles left. Less amazing for all the EU guys including me who ordered before that (13th in my case) and still haven't had any update... "We deliver according to the date of the order" they said. Ahah.
