So far, my Rift has spent more time connected to my Raspberry Pi than my Windows box. It uses a Broadcom BCM2835 system on a chip (SoC), which includes a VideoCore IV GPU, and has an HDMI port that connects to my Rift. GLSL shaders on the RasPi are much more powerful than I was anticipating, much to my personal delight.

Radeon 5770 ... nothing fancy and a Nexus 10 Android tablet. Both work fine 😉

Haha so far I've only seen the Rift used with a W500 Lenovo Thinkpad laptop, but it ran the Tuscany Demo with Razer Hydra support smoothly.

I got a Geforce GTX 780 last week. I still don't have the Rift. I wish they would ramp up the production a bit. I got my 780 in less than 24 hours from when it was officialy announced.

That is a bit of a Non sequitur, they announce it after having built a huge amount, getting it after 24h has no direct relation with their production capacity. (But yes Oculus will really need more production when launching the consumer model.)

Maybe if you run it at a 4k resolution and downsample for the Rift screen you might run in to issues on some demos/games. 😄
