Where are all the smaller games/experiences?

Where are all the smaller games and experiences we've had for the developer kits?
I am speaking about the different rollercoaster rides, tech demos, experiences like Airborne 1944, Don't Let Go, From Ashes, SightLine, Giants of Space, etc.

In general all the stuff you could download on Oculus Share, Wearvr etc.
Looking at the Oculus Store, all I can see are mostly full titles, which makes me kinda sad, since those short experiences often had a huge impact on me and where ideal to show to your family/friends. 😕

What is the reason for those experiences not getting updated on the newest sdk?
Is Oculus holding back the developers?
Is there a problem with the sdk?
Or do most of the developers still wait for their rifts themself? (which is very likely, I believe)

What do you think, why all the "smaller games" are gone?
Is there any official reason? Cyber? 🙂

I have the feeling, that at the moment, there is a lot less content for the cv1, than there was for the dk2.
Even though we got a bunch of full titles now 😕

I've always wanted to try that one where you have to keep your hands on the keyboard - can you play that on the CV1 and also, can you still play the Tuscany demo?

I'm afraid to tell you but I don't think that you can play the atm.
The only games/demos/experiences you can use atm are the ones from oculus home, maybe a handful from other sites like Wearvr and non-vr games played with thirdparty programs like Vorpx/Vireiro/Tridef.

Lets keep our fingers crossed that all those experiences get updated soon...

Please developers update your apps from Oculus share so they work with CV1.

I second this!   My wife wants to ride some of the rollercoasters she has seen on the videos (on youtube).  She is super stoked about it too!  She is already disappointed that Oculus missed the shipping date on my account (was listed as 4/12 - 4/22) but since everyone knows they are having issues, we both understand.

The worst part about the apps not working, is that there are so few "experiences" in Oculus Home.  Yes, there is Dreamdeck and a few others, we just want things like a bunch of rollercoasters or some of the other things we have seen on Youtube, that were for the DK2.  I realize they may cost a few dollars (hint: if you charge more than a couple of dollars for porting to the CV1, it won't be worth it) but her and I have agreed that we'd pay $2 per rollercoaster if someone were to release a pack, though we definitely won't pay $10 for something that is not refined.

Not sure if the devs will even see this but in the event that they do; It may or may not be hard to update some of the fun experiences to support the CV1, but doing so will not only help the VR ecosystem but it will get your name out there.  Even if you charge $1-2 for the trouble, it would still be worth it to have those available for the people that want them.  Hell, update the app and charge $1 to do it, then put a huge disclaimer on the game that says it is a developer test and that there will be bugs, some of which may never be fixed.  Then, you get 70 cents for every purchase and your name gets seen.  What more can you want?  🙂

I have a full time job and not to tight on cash by any means - I'm also determined to not buy any regular video games for the next few months as I want to invest soley into the VR industry. So any devs reading this - Please bring your software to the CV1 Rift - I'll buy it in a heart beat 🙂

My gut tells me that the devs who maintain all those cool little games don't have their CV1s yet, then once they get them you have to give them time to actually update the game. 🙂
