Why no PayPal for software?

I think this has been covered many times, but I am hoping Oculus takes notice if we get enough posts about it.
I purchased my Rift and Touch controllers via PayPal. I have some money left in there and thought, "Great, I can pick up a couple titles too without having to charge anything." NOPE! Credit card only for software, but hardware has a PayPal terminal?
I have never seen such a thing on any other website. You can use PayPal on this half of your purchases but not this other half. Bizarre, nonsensical and frustrating!

I pay with paypal through my paypal debit card, but I thought there was an option to use your paypal account directly.  Why not transfer the money to your bank account that you have to link to the paypal account and use the debit card from there?

Go to Settings>Payment. Press the down arrow next to 'Add payment method' and click on 'Paypal Account' then fill in the details. Job done.  😄

Thank you snowdog for pointing me in the right direction. I was confused because Oculus simply asks for a credit card when purchasing software the first time and makes no indication that there is any other way to pay. This is something I missed in the profile information but still very poorly designed that they do not have a standard checkout that allows for payment options.
