It's totally unnecessary. When in vr u can't see the gun and when in vr guns , bows, and other weapons feel like the real thing especially when u see the weapon in vr.

Uh, no. It's pretty much impossible to accurately use a rifle two-handed in VR in a game that actually lets you control where it's pointing with your hands. I usually end up just holding it like a pistol and firing one-handed.
That's why we need something that physically resembles a rifle to control it with.

Well you're all doing things the hard way, you crazy fools. To do things PROPERLY you all need to get rid of your Rift's, spend $800/£800 on a Vive, spend another $198/£198 on 2 Tracking Pucks, buy some duct tape and a REAL GUN.
Tape the Tracking Pucks and Vive controllers to your gun. Job done. This way your in-game gun will feel like a real one and greatly increase your presence when playing VR shooters.
Forget about these plumbing parts from DIY stores, if you're going to do something then do it PROPERLY.

This is completely untrue. I'm not sure what game you're playing that gives you this idea (there are plenty that have implemented it incorrectly). I suggest trying Onward.

Hi dudes,
Just seen your discussion....
Just for info (some seems to do not know about it...)
www.protubevr.com
It's the best solution avaliable cause you have a rifle, and you can easy use your hand to do everything you need (reload, grenade.....)

Never played it, but as I understand it, Onward doesn't let you control the rifle with your hands like a real one.
In H3VR, for example, you hold the rifle with your hands and move it around like a real one. Except you can't hold it against your shoulder and there's nothing to keep your hands in the right position relative to the size of the rifle.
