Nowadays it will probably run in lower frame rate and resolution. I think that the difference will be only one: you will be able to launch the game on DK2 using worse PC than you would need for CV1 Rift.
BTW, not trying to be mean, but on a "just so you know" basis: 75 MHz means the screen runs in 75 Mega Hertz. 1 Hertz is a frequency unit, meaning 1 time per second. Mega is short for 1 000 000 (one million). Basically, what you wrote means that DK2 refreshes 75 000 000 (yes, 75 million) times per second. No PC and no screen will able to refresh screen that quickly. 🙂 Nowadays monitor refresh rates are in Hertz (for DK2 it is 75 Hz, meaning 75 times per second; definitely not 75 000 000).

The reason I want to wait, is I want to try the CV1 before Purchasing, to ensure their is going to be that much of a wow factor difference to warrant forking out another $400.
I've seen so many different reviews saying different things about SDE, Field of View etc, I think its all coming down to your own experience now, so until I can try it, I'm taking reviews with a pinch of salt.
If the DK2 can run without issues, I wonder if the Oculus Touch Controllers are going to be compatible with the DK2 Camera's etc or do they come with their own camera?
