With pre orders going live on weds have oculus out in a massive backbone to keep their ordering page up on the big day, or am I going to be spending hrs trying to get on the page before getting a too late message?

Will the 1st batch have good numbers?

Thanks
Fiat Coupe, gone. 350Z gone. Dirty nappies, no sleep & practical transport incoming. Thank goodness for VR 🙂

Facebook has been taken out by an image Ellen posted, so I question the rift site

This is an excellent question and unfortunately we will probably only find out in 30 odd hours when we are constantly pressing the Refresh button trying to place our orders !

It will be up for preorder for the entire world, who will all log on at the exact same time. I hope for the best, but realistically those servers will be stomped hard and I just don't see any way they will be able to handle the pressure 😞
Me for the next year... :geek: VR4EVER!

I don't think it will be a problem. While I very much am looking forward to place my pre-order, VR is not as big as we like to think. Yet

Couldn't disagree more. The servers went down just for the DK2 preorders and ALOT more people have been holding out for the CV1 release.

You might be right. We'll soon see.

The site will be up to it. It's a vast upgrade to our backend system compared to what we had for DK2.
