@cybereality I've got to ask the question as I've not seen it asked before except in passing in other threads

why doesn't the information on reddit get posted to the oculus forum (you know, the official site on your own systems that people go to for information)??

i don't use reddit.. Never have and I'm not really interested in starting. I usually think that the forums run by the company is the place to find information from the company.

so why isn't this true?? Pretty sure I'm not looking at reality through some sort of glasses affair (because that got delayed by weeks), but having to get people in the community to repost reddit comments so that people get the information you guys are providing is screwed up...
Though you are more than slightly incoherent, I agree with you Madam,
a plum is a terrible thing to do to a nostril.

It's just forums. I find them clearer than traditional forums because of the bullet replies. They save time because the best responses rise to the top and the trolls sink to the bottom, or disappear, due to the up/downvoting system.

You don't have to use anything or even create an account. You just go and read them.

I would like an answer to the OP's question as well. I found it unbelievable that these forums are completely ignored by Oculus staff - with the exception of Cybereality.

I don't use it either, I find it a horrible forum with horrible mods and ownership.

I fully agree with the op, Oculus needs to start responding on there own Forums and not post everything in Reddit. It kind of looks like amateurism.

There is so much wrong here with this forum...it's hard to address.  But yes, the OP is on to a valid point. I agree.

Another +1 to not being a Redditer.

I don't find it acceptable as a professional avenue for disclosing information to the masses. I don't frequent it and I don't want to. I frequent the companies forums. I'd like updates there and/or on a blog. That's the appropriate place for official announcements.

That opinion applies to all companies though, not just oculus.

Fully agree also. Some of the stuff that spawns from reddit makes me hate the internet.
