Yes. That's right. I started a new thread cos I was too lazy to search for the original thread I started. So sue me lol

"Hi Backers!

I'm happy to inform you that we are going to start the delivery even this month. Last week we could solve the last mayor issue. Now the bluetooth connection works well, so just a few minor issues are left, but we don't see any blockers.

We have contacted the first Standard edition backer in Singapore to finalize his order. So we decided we will not send out new survey, but contact all of you one by one  before we start the production of your actual device.

For PRO and Special Edition backers: right after we finish the first Standard device we will focus on completing the backrest which is the last missing part for PRO and Special Edition.

Thank you for your patience and for the amazing support from all of you!"

I'm REALLY hoping that these things are going to be great because I've hyped myself up over this and don't want to be disappointed lol

With a bit of luck I'll be able to afford to get one of these things in May so I'm really looking forward to jumping in. The likes of Elite Dangerous, Project CARS 2, Assetto Corsa and War Thunder are going to be amazing in one of these things!!!

They're made in and ship from Hungary. 😄

Am hoping that I won't get screwed by tariffs if we end up leaving the EU on WTO terms though! Don't fancy paying an extra 10% or so!

You can adjust the amount of movement you get out of the thing, even turning the movement off altogether. I saw someone on a YouTube video somewhere turning off the yaw completely for a roller coaster, so it was just pitching and rolling.

I'd love to enable unlimited yaw but I don't have the room for it, think I'll be limiting mine to either 30 or 45 degrees.

There's a guy that's started working on recreating themepark rides that aren't in existence anymore, he's done Star Tours and Back To The Future so far:

Looks like he's got the power turned up to 11 lmfao 😄 😄 😄

I just watched the YouTube videos. I can honestly say if this bloke was shot into Space strapped to a Rocket he wouldn't batter an eyelid. Maybe he should take up a job as a Wing Walker on days when there's a storm, and it's Thundering and lightening.

I want one!!

Yeah, it looks really cool I wouldn't mind one myself. I used to have Bass shakers on my armchair until the guy below me complained. The Bass shakers really brought VR to life for me when in cockpits games, so I can't imagine how awesome this Yaw would be once it was setup right. I'm not sure where they ship from though and ordering parts might be a problem for me.

Right on!  Years ago I had a couple of Kenwood loudspeakers with 17 inch woofers.  I used to put them front-to-back right behind my gaming chair when I would play a Formula 1 game (name escapes me now).  It was awesome.

Does this work with any game or do they have to add games to the software to make them work properly? Also, I don't see any replacement parts on their website, so what happens if one of the motors develops a fault?

It's SimTools compatible AND has games already configured in their software too so that you don't need to worry about fiddling around with things. So if there's a SimtTols profile it'll work with a bit of fiddling around to set it up and if they already have the game set up in their software it'll do that work for you.

If one of the motors develops a fault they'll send you replacement parts under their warranty.

Yup, I've always wanted one, even before VR became a thing, but they've always been WAY out of my price range plus I don't have a great deal of room for one, so one of these things is going to be PERFECT for me ???

I'm not going to have the room to enable 360 degrees Yaw, probably just 30° or 45° at the most but that should still be enough to get some good presence going.

Apparently when you play the GTA V VR Mod you can feel people bumping off the car when you run the fuckers over!!! ????

I keep on meaning to try that Mod out but I haven't got around to it yet.

They're having technical troubles by the looks of it. 😄
