I really like the meta quest controllers, I think they're pretty close to the best controllers in the business. But I also hate having a headset strapped to my face. I kept trying to like VR, but I couldn't, so I gave away the multiple headsets I bought.
Instead I settled on gaming on PC with a 49" Samsung Odyssey G9, and an eye-tracking setup.
Meta should sell a package like this. Replace the headset with an eyetracking system that can be mounted on top of a TV and plugged into your HDMI, OR could also be plugged into the USB of your computer. It should be as powerful as the current meta quest so it can standalone play metaquest software. But could also instead just be an eyetracker / vr controller standalone for PC gamers who just want to play Steam games or whatever.
