CV1 and Non-approved Games

I just watched a video review that mentioned that CV1 would only work with games purchased on an Oculus store. Is this a true statement? Am I not going to be able to play Elite Dangerous or use VorpX?Any truth to this?

Big Head and CV1 fit

Does anyone know if the CV1 will fit a big head? My fat head has to have the strap near to fully extended on the DK2, so I'm a bit concerned with the plastic fit at the back. Yeah, so basically will it fit a fat head?
